We are seeking an experienced Senior Observability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in observability tools and technologies, including Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, and others. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions that provide visibility into our systems and applications.
Responsibilities
– Design and implement observability solutions using tools such as datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, and others
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure observability needs are met
– Develop monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues
– Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into system performance and behavior
– Automate processes related to observability to improve efficiency and accuracy
– Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to observability and monitoring
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
– Proven experience working with observability tools such as Datafog, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, etc.
– Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and tracing concepts
– Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
– Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
